ROLE OF PARENTS
(i) Parents are expected to cooperate with the school authorities in maintaining
punctuality, regularity, and discipline.
(ii) Parents should ensure that their ward takes an active interest in school activities.
(iii) Parents are required to sign their ward’s Progress Report.
(iv) Private tuition is not encouraged. Parents must not engage teachers of the school as
private tutors of their wards. In case a defiance is reported, disciplinary action will be
taken against both, the ward and the teacher concerned.
(v) Parents/Guardians are requested not to visit the classes or meet the teachers (in the
school campus) without the prior permission of the Principal. Parents who wish to
volunteer in the school program must meet the Principal.
(vi) Parents are required to notify the school of any change in their address or telephone
number.
(vii) All communications with the school should bear the name, class, and section of the
student.
(viii) Only written requests to let the child be taken home before the school closes will be
entertained. Parents are advised not to call away their wards during school hours.
(ix) All belongings of students should bear their name and class. The school will not be
responsible for any losses.
(x) Parent-Teacher meetings are held regularly to provide an opportunity for
exchanging views on the progress of the students.
(xi) Parents are requested to ensure that the Birthday celebration of their child is
confined to their classmates only. Children up to class V are allowed to wear smart
casual clothes, on their birthday. Only sweets are to be distributed. Parents can
donate a book to the school library or gift a plant if they wish to.
(xii) Parents should ensure that they send their wards to school in proper and neat
school uniforms with polished shoes. Children of classes Nursery to V must bring a
swimming costume and towel on the day allotted for swimming/splash pool.
(xiii) Parents are required to check their ward’s Almanac every day. Any note given by the
teacher should be acknowledged with the Signature of the parent.
(xiv) Kindly involve the children in household chores and train them to become selfreliant.
